Sanjay Kalra is the founder of Bharti Hospital, Karnal, India. He is committed to not only bringing international standards in diabetes care but adapting them to Indian standards and sharing them back with doctors in the rest of the world. He is  active  in treating patients as well as educating patients and doctors.

Dr Kalra is the winner of numerous national awards including National Gandhi Award for Excellence in Endocrinology in 2002  and 2nd prize in the National Essay writing contest for doctors in 2002. He has attended and spoken at various diabetes  conferences nationally as well at international forums.
