纪立农教授报告

专家介绍：

Professor Linong Ji is Professor of Medicine at Peking University，Director of Peking University Diabetes Center and Director of  the Department of Endocrinology and Metabolism, People’s Hospital, in Beijing, China. He is also President of the Chinese Endocrinologist Association, Vice President of the Chinese Diabetes Society，and a member of IDF–WPR Diabetes Policy Group. With research interests in the genetics of diabetes, pre-diabetes intervention and intensive management of diabetes, Professor Ji is Chief Editor of Chinese Diabetes Journal

Professor Ji received his MD from Beijing Medical University in 1986 and completed his postdoctoral training on genetic of diabetes at Joslin Diabetes Center, Harvard Medical School. He had published over 90 papers in peer-reviewed journals. He has held research funding from various agencies including the National Institutes of Health, Chinese Ministry of Science and Technology, Chinese Medical Board, Chinese Diabetes Society, and National Science Foundation. For his work, Professor Ji has received a number of awards including the World Health Organization (WHO) Postdoctoral Fellowship Award, Juvenile Diabetes Foundation International (JDFI) Postdoctoral Fellowship Award, Outstanding Clinical Investigator Award of Chinese Ministry of Public Health, and Chinese Medical Board (New York) Award of Outstanding Young Scholars.
