Philip Currie commenced his career as a registered nurse. Over the past 29 years Philip has occupied various roles at Sydney Adventist Hospital - from Registered Nurse, to Group General Manager, Operational Performance & Change (Adventist HealthCare). For the past 13 years, he has also held the position of Deputy Chief Executive Officer.
Philip’s professional passion is focused on developing organisational cultural alignment with corporate strategy. Over the past 13 years Phil has made a significant contribution to Sydney Adventist Hospital’s corporate strategic development process and focused on aligning the organisation to meet the strategic imperatives.
Philip is an active participant in the broader Australian health care industry and has held the position of Treasurer to the Private Hospitals Association of New South Wales for the past 13 years, Australian Private Hospitals Association (APHA) Councillor for the past seven years, and APHA Treasurer and Board member for the past five years.
