郭旦怀,博士,中国科学院计算机网络信息中心副研究员。2009年中国科学院遥感应用研究所获博士学位。主要研究兴趣包括在云环境和数据密集性计算环境下的时空分析、时空数据挖掘和大数据量时空可视化及其在公共卫生方面的应用,目前关注动物疫源性疾病和食源性疾病。主持了2个国家自然科学基金项目并主持和参与了自然科学基金“非常规突发事件应急管理”研究重大研究计划重点项目和培育项目。近年来主持或以主要完成人承担了5项科技支撑计划、卫生部行业专项、中国科学院知识创新工程、研究信息化专项等科研项目。在Plos one, Lancet, Natural, IEEE, ACM等国内外国际期刊和会议发表SCI论文4篇,EI检索论文20余篇。获发明专利和软件著作权近10项。
Danhuai Guo received his PhD from the Institute of Remote Sensing and Application of Chinese Academy of Sciences, and is associate professor in Computer Network Information Center, Chinese Academy of Sciences. His main research interest includes spatial temporal analysis in cloud computation and data intensive environment, data mining and visual analytics in public health, and currently focuses on animal borne disease and food-related disease. He is sponsored by Chinese NSF, Ministry of Science and Technology, National Health and Family Planning Commission and Chinese Academy of Sciences and PI and Co-PI. He has published more than 20 papers in international SCI/EI indexed journal and peer-reviewed conference including PLOS One, Lancet, Natural, IEEE and ACM. He has approximately 10 certified invent patent and software copyright.
Title: Exploratory Big Data Visual Analysis in CAS Data Cloud
Abstract:
Scientific research is becoming increasingly complex and more demanding in terms of computational and data requirements. Generated by applications or collected by some instruments in a variety of disciplines, scientific data are dramatically exploding. Scientific discovery based on data intensive computing is now considered as the ''fourth paradigm'' after theoretical, experimental, and computational science. However, managing, analyzing, crunching and analyzing and visualizing enormous scientific data has become a major challenge. After the introduction of data infrastructure @ CAS, I will share the implementation experience in scientific big data visualization in public health.
