Dominique Gossot
Dominique is the current Head of the Thoracic Department at the Institut Mutualiste Montsouris hospital in Paris, France. He received his basic medical and advanced surgical training at Paris VI University. Dominique’s primary clinical focus is the development of advanced thoracic endoscopic techniques and technological developments in minimally invasive surgery. As a prolific academic surgeon, he has published more than 148 papers with over 81 as first author, as well as the renowned textbook: Atlas of endoscopic major pulmonary resections, Springer-Verlag 2010.
Additionally, Dominique is on the Editorial Board for Surgical Endoscopy, the official journal of the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons, as well as the journals Minimally Invasive Therapy & Allied Technologies and Computer Aided Surgery. He also has concurrent memberships in the Society of Thoracic Surgeons (STS), European Association for Cardiothoracic Surgery (EACTS), European Association of Endoscopic Surgery (EAES) and the Société Française de Chirurgie Thoracique et Cardio-Vasculaire (SFCTCV).
