中山大学生命科学学院副院长郑利民教授

Limin Zheng (郑利民) Ph.D., M.D.

Director for Tumor Biotherapy, Cancer Center;

Vice Dean at School of Life Sciences; Sun Yat-sen (Zhong-Shan) Univ.; Guangzhou; China.

Topic:

Inflammation as Novel Strategy for Tumor Immune Editing

About Dr. Limin Zheng

Dr. Limin Zheng graduated from Shanghai Medical University in 1984 and then worked as a physician in Hua-Shan Hospital. He obtained his PhD in Immunology in 1994 from Leiden University, The Netherlands, and was promoted as Assistant Prof. by Swedish Research Council in 1998. Since 2003, he is full Professor at Sun Yat-Sen University, China. He received the Outstanding Young Scientist Fund from NSFC in 2004 and was awarded as “Cheung Kong Scholar” in 2009 by Ministry of Education, China. The main research activity of his Lab is to study the dynamic interactions between the malignant and immune cells in human solid tumors (with a focus on macrophages), as well as the “immune-based molecular staging” and immune therapy for tumors.
