一、会议性质：
“中国国际多肽学术会议”是在国际著名化学家、诺贝尔化学奖获得者Merrifield教授和我国合成结晶牛胰岛素的老一辈科学家共同倡议创办的，从1990年起至今已分别由中科院上海生化所、中国医学科学院药物研究所、北京大学、兰州大学、中科院上海有机所、中科院上海生化与细胞研究所、北京毒理药理研究所、清华大学等单位成功举办了十届，已成为与“欧洲国际多肽学术大会”、“美洲国际多肽学术大会”、“澳大利亚国际多肽学术大会”以及“日本国际多肽学术大会”齐名的多肽领域的国际盛会。每届会议都有多个国家和地区的多肽领域的资深科学家和年轻学者，及企业代表参会。
二、2010CPS
为进一步推进我国多肽研究事业的发展，加强我国多肽研究机构与国际多肽研究机构的交流，培养与国际接轨产、学、研结合的研究人才，兰州大学将于2010年7月5日至8日在兰州市举办第十一届中国国际多肽学术会议。
本届会议议题将集中在探讨多肽科学领域的最新进展及学术动态，涉及多肽及蛋白质合成方法学、生物活性多肽的生物合成、多肽及蛋白质翻译后修饰、多肽和蛋白质的设计、多肽催化、多肽免疫作用、多肽缀合、拟肽化合物、多肽治疗及诊断试剂、结构生物学等众多主题。会议的主要目的是为当前出现的新的科学问题，及其在深入研究中及新的医学生物技术中的应用提供一个交流的平台。同时此次会议也将是世界各地的年轻的学者与资深科学家相互联系、促进合作与交流的一次良好契机，使来自不同国家、不同研究背景的与会者进行广泛交流，促进在相关科学领域的学术交流合作和共同发展。
