Link: http://ccst.jlu.edu.cn/icsb2011/
July 2-3, 2011 Jilin University, Changchun
The goal of this workshop is to bring together researchers and clinicians with a wide range of expertise but sharing a common interest: gaining improved understanding about cancer, to present their insights about cancer. Specifically we are interested in gaining new and systems-level understanding about cancer formation, progression, and diagnosis through exchange of ideas and experiences by the invited speakers and the attendees of the workshop.
For this workshop, we have invited 20 invited speakers, with 10 from China and 10 from overseas, consisting of cancer biologists, cancer clinicians, cancer omic data analysts and computational modelers. We aim for integration of different perspectives about cancer, which could lead to new ways of thinking about identification of the key drivers of cancer as well as about identification of effective markers for cancer diagnosis. In addition to the 20 invited talks, the workshop welcomes posters from the workshop attendees to share their insights and experiences about cancer research.
We look forward to an exciting meeting in Changchun in July 2011.
