It is with great pleasure that we invite you to come to Glasgow on 4–7 September 2011 for the 15th Congress of the European Society for Organ Transplantation. ESOT has undergone a transformation in recent years into a much more professional organisation, better able to represent its members; this will be reflected in the ESOT Congress to be held in Glasgow. Poster sessions have undergone significant redesign to include many more short oral presentations in new formats. Many international meetings pay little attention to the way in which posters are presented; this will not be the case in Glasgow.
