BioMed Central, in conjunction with its journal Epigenetics & Chromatin, is hosting the inaugural conference “Epigenetics & Chromatin: Interactions and processes” at Harvard Medical School in Boston, USA from 11–13 March 2013.
Genome-wide analysis of epigenomes, together with in-depth biochemistry of chromatin components, has resulted in an increasingly complete parts list for epigenetic processes throughout the genome. The aim of the conference is to address the next challenge in the field of epigenetics by discussing how these components come together to regulate cellular processes.
By bringing together speakers in ten distinct but related areas of epigenetic research, including Methylation, non coding RNA, histone modification, this conference will shed light on dynamic chromatin processes that connect genotype to phenotype.
Each oral session will be led by a distinguished leader in the field, and will include both invited speakers and a number of talks by participants selected from the submitted abstracts.
The conference format is designed to promote discussion and interaction and all participants are invited to submit abstracts for oral and poster presentations. Submitted abstracts will be published as a supplement in Epigenetics & Chromatin (Impact Factor 4.46) and indexed in PubMed and by ISI Web of Science.
