尊敬的各位同仁：
干细胞与再生生物学是现代生物学中发展最为迅速和最受关注的领域，近年来取得了多项突破性进展。通过发展干细胞技术，恶性肿瘤、心血管疾病、糖尿病、肝功能衰竭、老年痴呆症和帕金森氏综合症等疑难病症均可能被攻破，且有望解决移植器官的供应短缺与免疫排斥等问题。
为了促进我国干细胞与再生生物学领域更快更好地发展，加速我国干细胞疗法的国际标准化，在科技部国际合作司、辽宁省卫生厅的支持下，中英再生医学高峰论坛将于2010年5月28日在大连召开。本论坛由大连医科大学附属第一医院主办，与牛津大学组织工程与生物加工中心协办。论坛拟围绕干细胞生物学领域相关议题展开广泛的交流与讨论，论坛将邀请英国著名教授及国内专家等参会，与大家共同分享干细胞研究领域的最新进展及成果、探讨干细胞治疗和技术的发展趋势。

Ladies and gentlemen:
Stem Cell and Regenerative Biology is the most rapid developing and concerned area of modern biology, many breakthroughs in recent years, many incurable diseases as cancer, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, liver failure, Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease and other incurable diseases could be treated through the development of stem cell technology, which is expected to solve the problem of transplant organ supply and immune rejection.
Sino-UK Regenerative Medicine Summit will be held on May 28, 2010 in Dalian in order to promote the development of stem cell and regenerative biology and to accelerate international standardization of Chinese stem cell therapy with the support of the Ministry of International Cooperation, Liaoning Department of Health. The Summit is organized by the First Affiliated Hospital of Dalian Medical University, and the co-Sponsors is Oxford University Tissue Engineering and Bioprocessing Centre. Focusing the extensive exchanges in stem cell biology world-renowned British and national professors and experts will be invited and share the latest stem cell research progress, achievements of stem cell therapy and the trend of relative technology.
