第一届Earth Microbiome Project(EMP)大会将于2011年6月13日至6月15日在深圳大梅沙京基海湾酒店隆重举行。本次大会由华大基因、Genomic Standards Consortium (GSC) 和Earth Microbiome Project (EMP,http://www.earthmicrobiome.org/) 共同举办。
EMP 计划旨在全方位地分析全球范围内的微生物群落的多样性及功能，该项目将对全球典型的环境样本进行宏基因组测序包括土壤、海洋、空气、淡水生态系统等整个地球表面的绝大多数的微生物群落。华大基因拥有先进的科研平台和测序分析能力，将负责EMP亚洲地区环境样本的收集，并对整个项目提供宏基因组测序以及相关的生物信息学分析。华大基因作为本次会议的主办方诚挚地邀请您参加本次会议，共同交流本领域的国内外最新进展。我们相信通过资源整合、创新的合作机制定能提高我国在环境微生物研究应用领域的自主创新能力和国际竞争水平。

Abstract Submission
The deadline for abstract submission is May 15th, 2011. All abstracts will be peer-reviewed by the Academic Committee, and authors will be notified if they are selected to give an oral presentation. Accepted abstracts will be published in the Conference Proceedings.
