The DOG (Deutsche Ophthalmologische Gesellschaft) is the medical scientific association of ophthalmology in Germany. Under its auspices it unites more than 5.900 academics and scientists as well as doctors in hospitals and medical practices. One of the main scopes of the DOG is to advance scientific progress in ophthalmology and to transfer acknowledged findings into the daily routine in clinics and physicians’ practices.
