I hope you will join us at this year's Canadian Rheumatology Association's Annual Scientific Meeting in beautiful Ottawa, Ontario at the historic Fairmont Chateau Laurier.
Wednesday starts off the meeting with a bang. After a full day fellows' program, there will be an address from the CRA President leading into the National Update. We will follow that with an address from our Distinguished Rheumatologist awardee, Dr Peter Lee, a welcome from a political figure and a wine and cheese reception.
Features to look forward to include the trainee and general member plenary, 2 poster sessions with 2 poster tours of interesting selections of posters on the second day of posters. Our sponsored (non-accredited) satellite symposia will be scheduled every morning with breakfast.
We have invited some excellent speakers including Dr. Joel Kremer as our Dunlop-Dottridge lecturer, Dr. Jan Dutz as our State of the Art lecturer and a keynote address by our Distinguished Investigator awardee, Dr. Janet Pope. Some workshop topics include: difficult lupus; difficult vasculitis; pregnancy and rheumatic diseases; and a small molecules update. The annual CRA debate topic will be: Rheumatologists with long wait lists should limit their practices to systemic inflammatory conditions.
Please join us in lovely Ottawa in February for an excellent CRA meeting.
