过去十余年来,全基因组关联研究(GWAS)为阐明人类复杂疾病遗传机制做出了重要贡献。近年来,新一代测序(NGS)技术的开发为研究人类常见和稀有疾病变异提供了更有力的工具。随着这些高通量技术成本的不断下降,我们正在进入一个数据爆炸的后基因组时代,大量的高维数据等待先进的统计方法和计算技术去破译,我们迫切需求具有统计、计算和生物学等交叉学科训练背景的专家来从事这些工作。有鉴于此,山西医科大学公共卫生学院和科技处将于2014年6月24日––25日在山西省太原市举办首届统计遗传和基因组学国际研讨会,该研讨将围绕GWAS和NGS数据,系统地讲解这些数据分析的统计方法和当前研究的国际前沿热点方向。本次研讨会分两个部分:统计遗传学讲习班和特邀专题报告。

(2)Compare the performances of various statistical methods including the CMC method, the collapsing method,the generalized T^2, the variable-threshold (VT), the weighted sum (WSS), themultivariate principal component analysis (MPCA), the functional principlecomponent analysis (FPCA), sequence kernel association test (SKAT);
(3) Discuss the challenges and prospects of sequencing studies.
